Description

Despite having no true gender, Order's' avatar is said to be that of a human woman with red-brown hair in a violet gown with a mantle of gold and white. The garments fit that of the Karandius Empire. As 'she' has no temples or worshippers to speak of, there is no set images or carvings of her. Sometimes Order is represented by a grid or by straight lines.

Dogma

Order is order. Plain and simple. Structure and law, sequences and traditions. Everything in a proper place and time. Order is more of a Power than a God and as such has no worshippers or tents to speak of. Order is in a never-ending struggle with Chaos but for what it is unknown.

Symbol

Order has no symbols to speak of.

Clergy and Temples

Order has no temples or priests to speak of. The Chaotic nature of magik ensures there are no Clerics who serve 'her'.

Laity

Order is said to be served (and worshipped) by the gnomes, but this is only hinted at by the name assigned to 'her' by ancient scholars, Eurynome

Holy Days and Festivals

None

Mythology and Lore

Order, called Eurynome by her followers, is said to be one of the two great cosmic powers of Xaria along with her counterpart Chaos. She is somehow tied to the Creation Stones and the island of Mu. The gnomes are known to be chief among her servants.

Order is in an eternal struggle with Chaos for control and has been known to be taken advantage of due to her adherence to the rules. She has the ability to exploit her own loopholes when she desires to. There is talk among theologians that Chaos destroyed all of Xaria on a whim along with a bevvy of powerful out-worldly daemons but that Order and the will of a few surviving Xarians restored it.

Order's relationship with Chaos has been described as sibling rivalry, an old married couple with a love-hate relationship, and a pair of bickering roomates though at times their rivalry has spilled onto the mortal plain with dangerous results.

It is said that the rare mortal who gains her favor is entertained with a very proper tea-party.
